Trina Fizzanty, PhD was appointed the Director of Center for S&T Development Studies (PAPPIPTEK) at LIPI (Indonesian Institute of Sciences), to provide STI policy recommendations in Indonesia based on research activities and STI indicators. Her duties at LIPI since 1993 including as a researcher on the area of management of Technology and Innovation and as a head of research division on the same area, and finally as a director of PAPPIPTEK. Her experience abroad as a speaker representing Indonesia in several international meetings such as NIS Forum APCTT in Bangkok-Thailand, APEC Research and Technology Program in Guangzhou-China, ASEAN Forum on APASTI in Hanoi-Vietnam, Global South-South Collaboration in Washington DC-USA, ASEAN-ROK Dialogue in Tagaytay-Philippine. She also presented her research papers in The International Conference of ASIALICS 2013 in Tokyo-Japan and 2014 in Daegu- Republic of Korea. Her research interest is on innovation process, complexity of scientific collaboration process, technology transition, food supply chain management, and sectoral innovation system. She’s granted her PhD from The University of Queensland-Australia in the field of Integrative Systems (Supply Chain Management) and graduated her master degree and undergraduate from similar university, Bogor Agricultural University in Bogor-Indonesia.
